The Deviant Elite X is the perfect action for precision rifle competition where accuracy is paramount, but weight is a concern.  Defiance has taken our match-winning Deviant Elite and trimmed nearly half a pound from areas that won’t affect accuracy.  The Deviant Elite X has unique features, such as the extended; front scope rail, barrel threads and bedding surface, while maintaining the Rem. 700 Short action footprint. The Elite controlled round feed bolt utilizes a coned breech and plate extractor for smooth reliable feeding. Lastly, the enhanced firing pin reduces vibrations and reduces bolt lift.
